Body Description:

Vinho Regional Transmontano

Tasting Note: Brilliant, pale ruby red grapefruit. Fruit forward but mineral driven with lively strawberry, watermelon, and a subtle savory rosemary component. A dry rosé bursting with juicy, mouthwatering acidity. Medium body and well balanced with a satiny, round mouth feel. The finish delivers the flavors on the nose to the palate with harmony and finess.

Viticulture & Vinification: Grapes were handpicked during the cool hours of the early morning and immediately transported to the winery. After de-stemming, the juice was left in contact with its skins for approximately 4 hours before being gently pressed. Fermentation with temperature control for about 15 days. Matured on fine lees for three months before a light fining with bentonite. Filtered and bottled in February of 2015.
